Job Description

As a Deputy Chief Executive Officer, you work in close partnership with the Chief Executive
Officer, providing leadership across the company and ensuring that internal governance, planning, strategies and systems achieve the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting corporate goals and objectives, and developing operating policies to accomplish the company objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and decisions by the Chief Executive Officer, and participate as a member of the Executive, to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • Deputize for the Chief Executive Officer during periods of absence, and in relation to specific matters, issues or elements of operation ensuring a consistency of approach and decisions which align with the company’s objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer and day to day operational imperatives including the implications of major policy decisions.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and nurture effective strategic partnerships to identify changes in client base and demands and new industry developments which impact on the strategic positioning of the agency and achievement of both short and long term goals.
  • Assists in developing the company’s budget for submittal to the Board of Directors for review and approval.
  • Conduct Regularly reviews department and annual corporate budget and overall financial performance.
  • Conduct an annual performance review of senior executive staff in conjunction with the President/CEO performance of senior executive staff.
  • Work with appropriate staff in negotiating major contracts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  • Master degree in Business Administration is a big plus.
  • Must have at least 12 years of experience.
  • At least 6 years in the event management.
  • At least 6 years of working at Deputy CEO / Director or equivalent level.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and operating systems.
  • Full command of written and spoken English.
